"James Cameron's Titanic Explorer" is a three CD-ROM set with hours of video and animated sequences. The first disc covers the history and building of the ship, the second, the night of the disaster, and the third focuses on the rescue of the survivors up to the present day. The story is told through the use of historical photographs, scenes from James Cameron's movie, included footage never before seen, and quotes from survivors brought to life by voice actors.
Much of the production for this project was edited on high-end video editing suites so the audio was processed as if being prepared for broadcast quality. This was a nice change from producing highly compressed pieces for transmission over the Web.
