"Levi's Personal Pair Kiosk " in-store kiosk

challenge: Create an inviting in-store kiosk where users can design their own unique pair of Levi's Jeans.

Levi's Personal Pair allows customers to create their own unique jeans by choosing style, leg, color and fly. The in-store kiosk was part of an experiment to automate the process allowing users to make their choices on the computer and submit the request directly to the factory.
The back-end of the network had already been developed when we came on to the project, so our challenge was to create a fun interface which would gather the customer selections and smoothly transfer the data to the server.
We worked with Turner Duckworth on the concept and design and came up with several interactive games to help the user make their choices. A fun irreverent narration keepers them engaged and explains each step.
The in-store kiosk was tested in Costa Mesa, CA. I was able to attend the installation and testing. It was a great opportunity to see customers interacting with the interface.
