| synopsis: |
The story is narrated by a man who answers letters of complaint in a department store. One letter in particular moves him to send a long message back explaining that her complaint has been denyed, but that he has been deeply touched by her. His explaination includes a description of a trip to the zoo, a made-up tale about the "sandman," and a recorded message which he confesses that he made sitting right outside her door! |
| production notes: |
What is presented here is basically the first Act of the story, which involves a trip to the zoo to ponder the strange existence of Kangaroos. For this scene, I built a miniature zoo and captured some wild life photgraphy right in my own apartment. |
